Enquanto não ponho aqui um fragmentozinho de “Lúmpen”, velho livro do Otavio Ramos (recentemente homenageado pelo Regis Gonçalves no “Terças Poéticas”, em  Belo Horizonte), deixo uns versos de Yeats, que figuram como epígrafe de outro livro de Otavio, “Pise Devagar, Você está pisando nos meus Sonhos”. Claro que o título foi tirado dos versos de Yeats.

Ei-los:

 Had I the heavens’ embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with the golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams:
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
